So here's the story...
I was going through a creative slump when I decided that the perfect way to spark my creativity again was to plan a photoshoot that was out of the ordinary. Something that would push me to try new angles and get creative. I was scrounging through the internet (Pinterest) when I landed on a couple who put an air mattress in a lake and turned it into a session; I was inspired. This was everything I loved! Out in nature, particularly water, getting dirty and being adventurous.
I posted about my idea on my instagram story and one of my past wedding clients reached out suggesting it for their 1-year anniversary. Literally what could be more perfect than mattress in a lake to represent a 1-year anniversary?... nothing. It was perfect.
I gave them the instruction to wear white T's and light wash jeans and come ready to have a ton of fun. I also decided to throw in a little special, sentimental touch to the shoot as well.
I told them that before they got in the water, we were going to set up the "bed" in the middle of the woods and I wanted them to write a little letter to each other about their 1-year of marriage together.
